Well I went to the bank and talked to them about getting our line of credit extended. We were instantly approved.
*sigh*
You may now resume your baby shopping.
The social worker is coming on monday to do the intake interview.
I have begun the house cleaning tonight...

At least you know the value of your "investment" will outlive the life of the loan. It's not like you're buying a car, where the car is old and clunky sometimes before it gets paid off. Your child is forever. :)
Well at least it is all going in the right direction. No wonder the placement rates have doubled - others probably get frustrated with all the red tape.
Just think how nice it will be once all of this is over with and you only have to worry about your baby - not trying to impress others with financials or clean the house spotlessly!
