Spring?

Hey everyone!

Spring started 21 March, right?

Just checking...

Anyway, Rebekah is getting SO big now. In the last week John and I have noticed changes in her. She is getting a belly and she is filling out. She is prolly close to 13-14 pounds now! We need a scale in the house again =)

We too another trip to Highland Park on Saturday. The weather was good (the calm before the storm) so John and I took Rebekah and Merlyn to the park for some air and movement. It was great, of course. The lilac buds are starting to swell, so things should get getting green soon! And then things will be getting purple, white and yellow! Ohh...and my fave- the Sensation! I love lilacs in bloom!
So, here are pics from the Highland Park outing...

Anyway...
Rebekah stayed in her swing for a good bit today...When I ate breakfast and lunch she went in it and was great. Then tonight, she was fussing a bit, so I put her in it again...
This was the result...

Last thing...
Bumbo's rock!
We got Rebekah one the other day and we thought we would put her in it to see how she does. She does have a great amount of head control for a 7 week old. So she sat very happilly in it for a few minutes. And she sat very well. I love the Bumbo!
See, she does too...

(I have more pictures of her in it, but Blogspot is being stupid and I am having major problems uploading the pictures...sorry, at least this is the best of the ones of her in the seat!)

Thats all folks!

Just me,
Fran =)

Happy Late Easter!

Hey everyone!
Sorry for the delay in postings.

Rebekah is such a joy to have that I lose track of time!
So is now 6 weeks old. We have had her for 40 days. So fast!

Today her Birth-Mom had her court date and it went very smoothly. Our lawyer called and told us that she is a very beautiful woman and she was very upset at putting Rebekah up for adoption, but she was very confident in her choice.

Now we just to wait a little bit (3 months or so) while they 'try' to fin the Birth-Father. A few adds in the paper and we have done our resonable part.

So, anyway, yesterday was Easter. Not to much happened....actully we did not even leave the house! John and I exchanged baskets on Saturday. Our 'budget' was 2 things/pieces of candy and 1 DVD. I got him X-Men III for his DVD and he got me Season One of Party of Five. Rebekah got a Hippo toy, a cute 9 month onesie and a pair of wicked cute shoes.

We did get her all dressed up, though. We had two Easter dresses. One from Eva and one from John's mom, so we put one on, took some pictures then put the other one on and took more pictures.

She is so cute!
Ya just want to eat her up!

Enjoy!

Just Me,
Fran =)
