In a week from today...

I will be freezing my butt off.
I will be having crepes made by my wonderful husband.
I will be having turkey enchalladias made my me in my oven in my house.
I will be playing with my dog.
I will be hugging, kissing etc my husband (hrm, playing with the dog came first...)
I will be playing in the snow. (maybe)
I will be wrapping gifts.
I will be flipping through 71 cable channels that have nothing on. (But 71 is still MUCH more than 7)
I will be sitting on my couch. (not at a camper dining table or in a camper bed.)
I will not have a horse around me!
I will not be the only english speaking person in the building.
I will be very very happy.

Heck, this time next week I might still even be asleep!

I'll be home soon. For a week or so anyway.

Just me,
Fran =)

Disney Shopping...

Well, we think that John will be coming down here for his spring break.

Why not go to Disney one last time before we adopt? It is only like 4 hours away from here...
So I am pricing it out.
I am thinking of going 13 March - 15 March. Arriving as early as possible to get into the room and get the tickets to get into the parks, and leaving as late as possible on the 15th to see a park and then drive home.
3 days at a value resort (Pop Century) with a 3 day park hopper pass is $700.

Oh boy.

Not sure if THAT will happen. Well at least we can drive up there for an overnight and shop w/o entering the parks *sigh*

*sigh* a day off...

It had been 2 days short of 2 weeks since my last day off.

now in a NORMAL work environment that would be alright (or more acceptable).
Here is why it is a little crazy.
1- I have been working 14 hour days.
2- I have not really seen anyone I know for 1/2 of those days.
3- I live in a camper trailer.
4- I have yet to learn spanish.
5- I have not seen John in a LONG time (something like 15-16 days with 18 more to go)

I think I should explain the spanish part a little bit, eh?

All of the barn workers around here are Mexiacan ("The Mexicans" we call them. Most of them know "Hello, how are you?" and "OK" for english. Yup.
You know how much spanish I know? About as much english as they know. *nods*

I acully had a chance to get to know a little more spanish, in a creapy sort of way. I got asked out to dinner by one of The Mexicans. I said NO, he said, it will be as 'Just friends'.
Yea, right.
No thank you. *showing my left hand*

I miss home. I miss the routine and the stability.

And not being hit on by someone shorter than I am.

I miss John.

Just me,
Fran =)
