More Pictures!

More pictures...
Since she is not here yet (yea, I know- COME NOW!), I have been organizing the nursery and gettting it all set up and looking good!

Enjoy!

Just me,
Fran =)

The changing table with supplies next to it.

Comforter made by my mother-in-law...she is awsome and does great work!

The nursery with the new curtain, diaper stacker, dust ruffle (hard to see) and her name!

The curtains, diaper stacker (which is HUGE will hold a weeks worth of diapers!), and a organizer (hanging on the crib)

The book shelf has been re-done. Now it has recieveing blankets and bathing supplies on the second shelf and a basket of bibs and hats on the top.

The upper right drawer of the bureau is the newborn size clothes.

Upper left drawer is socks, tights and booties in plastic holders.

Middle drawer is size 0-3 in the first and second rows and sleeping bags in the right row.
The bottom drawer is size 6-9 and a few 9+ clothes.

The closet with all the cute little dresses hanging up!

Stroller and Pink...

Here are some pictures of the stroller/carseat combo we got yesterday.
Thank you so much to Tasley who was able to get up enough money from our co-workers to REALLY help in the purchase of the stroller/carseat combo!

Also, here are some picture of our mountian of pink clothes!
Thank you to Eva for the clothes she sent us, it really made me wish that I did not buy clothes already! She sent a TON!

Birthmom is still pregnant and happy and healthy. Her Doctor said he would not be suprised if she goes another week or two! She might be born on my birthday (9March)....but I **HOPE** they do not let her go that long!

Enjoy!

Just me,
Fran =)

Decortaing day!

My great friend Tara came over today to help out with some decorating of the nursery.
We painted some letters for her name, we put up the dragonfly Wallies (wallpaper dragonflies), and we (well SHE) attached the extenshion cord for the dragon fly lights....

Enjoy!

Here is her name from the front view...
Here is her name seen from the side, each letter's side is painted a contrasting fun color

Dragonfly Wallies on the bureau

A view of the crib and her name and some of the Wallies

Pink PIctures!

This is her outfit we are going to bring her home in, it also has a matching hat. It is 0-3 months, so I hope she is large enough for it...if not we will use something else. It is a purple striped onesie, with matching pants and a little cardigan over it.
Her little winter suit, with bear ears

$1 Old Navy Sweater
A wicked cute outfit John bought her

A close up of John's outfit - Cheeky Monkey - He calls Jeffrey "Sweet Cheeks" and Merlyn "Monkey Butt" so it works both nicknames in

I'm with the Band

$4 Baby Depot cute suit

Drawer of clothes....I need to learn a few things about baby clothes
1- How to fold them efficiently
2- how to organize them in a drawer

Hats! I love baby hats! I hope she will not mind!

Kisses all over!

I love you onesie

Socks, booties and mittens, we still need some more.

Sorry this one is sideways...a cute summer dress for her

Pink...

Thursday and Yesterday I went Pink shopping (not the musician - though the song "Stupid Girls" is good!)...

Up until yesterday, we had the normal gender neutral colors:
Green and Yellow

So I hit a bunch of stores and got pink clothes =)
I also did some scouting about for the cheapest and best places to get baby/infant clothes...here is what I found:
TJ Maxx rocks! Great stuff, sometimes NAME brand at like $2-5.
Old Navy rocks! Hit their sale area and you find stuff for $1-4.
Salvation Army/Goodwill/Volunteers of America are good. Our Salvation Army store is HUGE, great selection, good prices $1-2
Burlington Coat Factory/Baby Depot is good. Well, actully hit or miss. Their prices I would guess range from 10-20% less than retail, some more. We have two stores near us, one is usually cleaner/tidier than the other. =)
Children's Place has very nice CHILDREN'S clothes (as Eva said, not teen clothes for infants), but they have a credit card, which is dangerous! Prices were good, and sales prices were great.
Sears also had some really good sales this weekend on baby stuff.

So...I am going to post some pictures of the pink I got, in my next post (need to actully take the pictures, first!).

Our birth-mom's due date is today. She had an appt on Thursday and there were no changes (dilation etc.) so they said most likely nothing will happen this weekend. Which is good since Tasley has planned a baby shower for my co-workers for Tuesday. =) That should give us time to get the rest of what we need!

John's mom bought us a crib. She is also making the bedding/nursery linen set.
My dad and step mom bought us our pack-n-play, a bottle sterilizer and (from what I heard) a ton of wicked cute clothes from Kohls.

Well, I think that is it for now!

Just me,
Fran =)
