*yawn*

Why do you get so tired when you don't do anything. Any, you know, it seems to be getting worse the less I do. *sigh*

SO, I applied at 3 more places to day:
Van Putte (pronounced Putty) Nursery (plants, not kids)
Lowes
Grossman's Nursery (again, plants, not kids)
Last week I applied at a local very large pet 'hotel'. Yup they call it a hotel, not a kennel.

Still nothing, though.

Merlyn was under the weather this weekend. I noticed on Friday that he was not quite as active as he usually is. By Sunday he screached/cried/wined a few times when he was touched. He did not act sick (no cough, or weeping eyes/nose, and he was eating and pooping) but he did seem like he had a kink in his neck or he was stiff somewhere. So, on Monday I took him to the vet. He had (has?) a kink in his neck, the vet said. He is on pain killers and muscle relaxers for 4 days AND I have to keep him quiet. *laugh* For those who know Merlyn out there, is that REALLY possible once the medicine kicks in?!? He was a CRAZY dog yesterday...crazy crazy crazy! This morning he seemed a little stiff, but still in good spirits.

My monthly reading.
Last month I started and finished 'Lirael'. This month I started 'Wicked'. I did not get far. Not that it is not good, I am just not into it at all. So now I am going to try to read at least 3 of my Kenshin collection (Volume 10, Volume 11 and Volume 12) in lue (loo?) of a book. I am listening to 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince'(that link has spoilers within it, but not on the front page so if you have yet to read the book....) in the car (for the second time, plus one time reading it). The last book I listened to was 'Valley of the Horses'.

Here is my current online addiction.
Rochester Wiki
I don't really like Wikipedia, since factually it sucks and to many people rely on it as fact. But this one is Rochester info, posted by people who live here. Kind of like asking a bunch of peoples opinions about things do to and such in Rochester. I love it. History stuff too. Even if some of it is not true, it is a jumping ground for me to research Rochesters history myself!
Hrm, I think that is it for now!

I think I am crazy...

I did get offered the job at Barnes and Noble.
But I turned it down. They wanted me for recieving, and I would not mind doing that, but only 3 days and not 15 hours.

Amie the manager at the store offered me more hours this next month, so I took her up on that offer.

So I am working, yes, not fulltime, but working. I hope I made the right decision by turning down B&N. I feel I did, right now anyway. Hopefully I will get a call this week for something awsome! =)

I keep saying that, huh?

OH YEA...since I did not update you all before, I wanted to let every worried soul out there that my items from Florida make it to me in perfect condition. I still have my bike and other little things down there, but I figured the bike would cost more to ship than it cost to buy. SO...THANK YOU AUNT SUE! My Aunt Sue is the one who went iand picked the stuff up and shipped it to me.

Anyway, thats it for today...
Next post I will writing about how my monthly reading project is going (hint, not well right now).

Till then!

Just me,
-Fran =)

Well...

I got one call for an interview.
15+ applications/resumes out and one call back.
And it is only for a part time job 15 or so hours.

Now, the interview went wonderfully. It was at Barnes and Noble in Webster. They are looking for Music, Cafe and Recieving. I think the recieving sounds the best, but they might "share" me between recieving and cafe. Music would be alright, but I do not think I know enough to really help people make their selections.

So, like I said, the interview went very well and she was very positive that I will get it.

Do I want to take a job that will pay $7 an hour for only 15 hours?
Do I take a change that another job that will be full time will call next week?

HELP!

Just me,
Fran =)

Getting Depressed now...

I have yet to have a job call back.
None.
It is kind of depressing now. We really are starting to need the money.
I have Resumes or applications for the following places:
Scottsville Animal Hospital
Lollypop Farm (Fairport and West)
Heritage Christian Riding Stable
Country Max (Fairport)
4 Local Barnes and Nobles
2 Local Borders
Home Depot
Pittsford Plaza Cinema
Perinton Veterinary Hospital
PetSmart (for Equine Dept Manager at Brockport)
2 blind adds from the paper 1 for a Kennel Attendant and one for a Labratory Animal Technician Assistant (the address was for Strong Hospital)
I think that is it.
I would love the Lab animal assistant or the Perinton Vet hospital one.

Perhaps since tomorrow is my birthday, all of them will call and offer me a job on the spot!

Well, I will settle for one calling for an interview!

Good luck to me! *sigh*
