*yawn*

Why do you get so tired when you don't do anything. Any, you know, it seems to be getting worse the less I do. *sigh*

SO, I applied at 3 more places to day:
Van Putte (pronounced Putty) Nursery (plants, not kids)
Lowes
Grossman's Nursery (again, plants, not kids)
Last week I applied at a local very large pet 'hotel'. Yup they call it a hotel, not a kennel.

Still nothing, though.

Merlyn was under the weather this weekend. I noticed on Friday that he was not quite as active as he usually is. By Sunday he screached/cried/wined a few times when he was touched. He did not act sick (no cough, or weeping eyes/nose, and he was eating and pooping) but he did seem like he had a kink in his neck or he was stiff somewhere. So, on Monday I took him to the vet. He had (has?) a kink in his neck, the vet said. He is on pain killers and muscle relaxers for 4 days AND I have to keep him quiet. *laugh* For those who know Merlyn out there, is that REALLY possible once the medicine kicks in?!? He was a CRAZY dog yesterday...crazy crazy crazy! This morning he seemed a little stiff, but still in good spirits.

My monthly reading.
Last month I started and finished 'Lirael'. This month I started 'Wicked'. I did not get far. Not that it is not good, I am just not into it at all. So now I am going to try to read at least 3 of my Kenshin collection (Volume 10, Volume 11 and Volume 12) in lue (loo?) of a book. I am listening to 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince'(that link has spoilers within it, but not on the front page so if you have yet to read the book....) in the car (for the second time, plus one time reading it). The last book I listened to was 'Valley of the Horses'.

Here is my current online addiction.
Rochester Wiki
I don't really like Wikipedia, since factually it sucks and to many people rely on it as fact. But this one is Rochester info, posted by people who live here. Kind of like asking a bunch of peoples opinions about things do to and such in Rochester. I love it. History stuff too. Even if some of it is not true, it is a jumping ground for me to research Rochesters history myself!
Hrm, I think that is it for now!

Just me,
-Fran =)

Lieu. (Yeah, it's French.)
(Yeah, I'm a word nerd. =)

Good to know Merlyn's fine, though! He was good about not being too crazy, too...

Speaking of Rochester's history, you should be smelling lilacs sort of soon, right? We'll have ours here too, of course, but not as prolifically as you guys.

The teeny lilac I planted in the front yard has little leaf buds on it. I guess it survived the winter. I don't expect flowers this year on it, but leaves would be great!
